Michael Brandsegg-Nygård (1st round’24) blocks a point shot. Finishes his check to create a 2v1. The defenseman plays it well, lays down in the passing lane. MBN shoots, but it’s saved. Then shoves his opponent after the chance. #LGRW #skeaik

Friedman believes Yzerman had a short term contract offer out to Ed earlier in the summer. Also says he heard the Wings asked for permission to interview people for the GM position but didn’t follow up and actually interview them(yikes) #LGRW

KIISKINEN HATTY 🎩 🎩 🎩 🚨🚨🚨 Undresses the d man and buries #LGRW

“Yzerman had warned the red wings and ownership that the if they traded Larkin they would probably not win the deal in the short term. It would be for longer term help. And I don’t think the red wings like that” #LGRW

CARTER BEAR FIRST PRO GOAL🚨 #LGRW

Marco Kasper having some fun with summer hockey. #LGRW

Michael Brandsegg-Nygård with a Kronwall type hit. 5 minute major for interference and a game misconduct. Get this guy to North America he’s not built for European hockey. Canadian broadcast doesn’t even think it’s a penalty. #LGRW

Marek and Greg say they have both “heard” a different team than the teams that are reportedly on Larkin’s list, Utah. #LGRW 🎥The Sheet with Jeff Marek

Marek on Robertson/Larkin “Even though I do think Dylan Larkin is a player of interest for the Dallas stars, I don’t think Jason Robertson is a player of interest for the Detroit Red Wings” 🎥The Sheet with Jeff Marek

Todd on Nate “we wanted to see him now, so we could make some decisions perhaps on some other players” Interesting. #LGRW

Friedman on morning cuppa hockey discussing Hughes to Detroit. #LGRW 🎥Daily Faceoff

Who would have thought that the young man in the back of this scene of “this is 40” would be on the top line of the wings at 36 years old! 7 points in his last 5GP. 4G 6A in his last 10! 1 more year! 1 more year! #LGRW

Kiiskinen🚨! Nice tip on an Anton Johansson shot #LGRW
