I lived in Humboldt Park for 8 years off Division/Homan & every year around this time celebration turns violent. We are expected to ignore that, anyone who says anything about it is racist of course. If anything ICE hasn’t done nearly enough, they’ve failed us big time. Over 50,000 illegal aliens were settled in Chicago during the Biden administration, Chicagoans paid for the every need & sometimes wants. At best ICE arrested 4,500 illegal aliens in Illinois, that’s not even 10% of the ppl who came during that 4-year span. It’s estimated over 150,000 illegal aliens live in Chicago alone so ICE arrested 3% of them this year, that doesn’t even mean they’ll be deported.
