This fight is for all WOMEN ! Last October, I reported men repeatedly showing up in the women's locker room at my gym. I reported it four times. Nothing was done. Then, instead of protecting me, they walked me out with police and terminated my membership. I've spent the last ten months carrying that trauma, and I've realized something: if no one is held accountable, nothing changes. So now I'm fighting back, legally, for me and for every girl who comes after me. I don't want another woman to ever go through what I went through. I can't do this alone. I need your help. Can you hear the FEAR in my voice ?! There were other women in that locker room, naked and too scared to say anything, so I stepped up even though I was scared too. And somehow, he felt empowered to call the gym staff on me. Think about that. The women were afraid, I was asking for safety, and he was the one who felt protected. This is happening at GOLDS, La FITNESS, HEIMAT Equinox and all GYMS. We need laws changed! We need a serious conversation about California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and how it applies to intimate spaces like locker rooms, showers and changing rooms. Women deserve privacy, dignity and safety in spaces where we are undressed.

This night I cried myself to sleep. I was trying to warn the other women. I wasn’t trying to go viral. I woke up to nearly 100M views and confirmation MOST people don’t agree and were being SILENCED. No one will ever convince me that this is a woman, or that what happened here isn’t dangerous and part of a much bigger issue. People try to minimize my concerns as if I’m trying to be some kind of “bathroom security guard.” I’m not. I’m a woman concerned about what happens to women and children when boundaries and safeguards aren’t taken seriously. Look at how he’s looking at me. I was terrified in that moment. And later, I learned he had a violent history involving his ex-wife. This is about women being able to have boundaries, privacy, and safety without being shamed for saying so.

Women are being told to override our own boundaries because someone else wants to be perceived differently. But women do not owe anyone access to our spaces, our bodies, or our sense of safety. If a woman’s trauma makes her uncomfortable around male bodies, telling her she needs to unlearn that reaction is not compassion. Her boundaries matter too. Respect cannot mean women are the only ones being asked to ignore what makes us feel unsafe. Women deserve dignity. Women deserve boundaries. A man punching a woman in the face because she called him a man is not “progress.” It is violence. No ideology, identity, or political belief should ever require women to ignore biological reality at the expense of our safety. Men are, on average, physically stronger than women. That matters in sports. It matters in locker rooms. And it absolutely matters when violence happens. This happened to me. Four times in two weeks, I turned around in that bathroom and there was a man standing there. I reported it every single time. Nothing was done. I stood there naked and vulnerable, telling him to leave, and he wouldn't. Staff said their hands were tied. Other women in there were just as scared and didn't know what to say. No more perverts in office. Stand for something or fall for anything and I’m not falling for anything. Me and my sis Angela Stanton King 🇺🇸 confronted Ed Markey to make one thing clear: he does not represent women, and he does not protect women. Markey has been in office since the 1970s. Let that sink in. He’s served as a U.S. Senator since 2013, before that spent decades in Congress, and even earlier in the Massachusetts state legislature. That’s nearly 50 years holding power. This is exactly the problem. These seats were never meant to be lifetime thrones. When the same people stay in power for half a century, they stop serving the people and start serving themselves. There is no way this man is the best, brightest, or most in touch with what’s happening right now. I don’t believe he’s the only option. I don’t believe there’s no one younger, smarter, or more connected to the reality we’re living in. And I don’t believe the people have truly been given real alternatives. If the system keeps recycling the same faces forever, then yeah it needs a facelift. Accountability matters. Representation matters. And silence is no longer an option. Enough is enough!

This is happening in women’s prisons. Men are being housed in women’s correctional facilities. Women have reported pregnancies as a result. Cities are now facing lawsuits for the policies that allowed this. This is not compassion. This is a failure to protect women.

When I turned around and found three different men in the women’s locker room with me while I was naked on four separate occasions in just two weeks I was forced to confront a painful reality. Not only has our government failed women, but we as women have failed one another by remaining silent. No one is coming to save us. We must save ourselves. It’s time for women to unite in truth, stand together, and advocate for the rights, privacy, safety, and dignity of women and girls. The cost of doing nothing is too high. If we refuse to speak up, the next generation will inherit the consequences. Young girls are depending on us to protect what generations of women fought to secure. The time to stand together is now.
