A girlfriend (former dental hygienist) said this should go viral b/c so many times she’s been on first dates and never saw the guy again because of periodontal disease/bad breath. Bad breath is a huge deterrent for most people and in many cases easily solved. I know I’ll be torn to bits over this but GEEZUS!!! Take a freaking hint. Granted, you should never take anything from someone you don’t trust but friends, I won’t leave you on that hill alone, I’ll be chewing the gum too. In fact many a time I try to play it off as I’m getting one for me, you want one too and EVERY freaking time I get hit with “Does my breath stink?” along with another pungent puff of your tonsel stone breath. Have you priced altoids or Ice Breakers lately?!? Gum isn’t cheap, and I’m not giving it away for no good reason. Don’t make it awkward for both of us, yeah your breath reeks. Take the mint and a trip to the dentist. That’s all I have to say about that. Wait, I have more, trim your finger nails! Claws only look good on Wolverine. Also, pedicures aren’t just for women. I got asked out yesterday and wasn’t going to go because of my neck pain (my spinal stenosis is flared up) but my AC went out on Sunday, faulty wire in my thermostat. AC guy is coming today. I was so miserably hot watching tv at home and he really wanted to meet me, so I did go downtown and he took me to the Roosevelt Room. He was very good looking, probably the best looking guy I’ve ever gone out with, and an attorney. I was looking cute but the pain was intense. I enjoyed the conversation and the drink. Would have been home by 10:30pm but got stuck in horrible traffic. The wind is blowing my curtains around in my room right now, and it feels like heaven! Ugh!! I hate being so low energy lately. On Fridays, I work 8 AM to 9 PM. I’ve turned it into a bear, I just wanna hibernate when I get home. I want to go have fun. Sigh, hidden comments should NEVER be clicked on. They protect us from meanies but curiosity got the best of me and some old Geezer called me that because of my “Gilmore Girls” video. If the shoe fits I’ll wear it. Do I dance along the line between ethical morals and impropriety…eh, sometimes, but I’m a good person at heart. Just more than a tad tired, literally and figuratively of everyone’s BS. If you can’t be kind to me, kindly go away. Life’s hard enough without people being mean for no reason. In all honesty, I would’ve loved to continue working there. I truly enjoyed it and the hours went by so super fast. If you need a catering company in the Austin area, please consider 512 Boutique Events. Best queso, guacamole, shrimp ceviche, grilled chicken, butternut squash ravioli…I’ve ever had, just to name a few of my favorite dishes. It was a great last event and to my surprise one of the workers put a little treat together for me, a goodbye card and some gift cards for me. The highlight was a young man that wrote “Goodbye. I hope to see you again one day soon” which was written by my 19 year old son that rode and worked with me 🤣 and one of the bartenders wrote “Happy Birthday”. Haha. They both cracked me up. It’s a very close knit group and I really did love it. I just couldn’t juggle 60+ hours a week anymore. Now I’m down to two jobs=52 hours a week. Some days I want to quit them all and just live in a van down by the river. Anywho. I’m grateful for the experience, it was my first time in the food service industry and I learned a lot. I also bartended a bit and loved that too. I will miss everyone.
