Check this out: they took ordinary .300 blackout rounds, melted the copper, turned them into coins, then cut apart coke cans and made improvised EFPs with them. Very cool to see. I'd never suggest using this on various things outside of the intended situations

It is so neat to see 3d printing being incorporated into EOD and demolitions use. When I went to Sapper Leader back in the 90s, we were taught simple steel cutting formulas where we put bricks of C4 aligned or offset; now you can use a linear shaped charge to achieve a cleaner cut with much less explosive, with the standoff built right into the printed housing. I hope that NAVSCOLEOD and Charlie cadre at USAJFKSWCS are getting up to appropriate shenanigans with them thread_reduction_ltd on instagram
