I've seen a lot of comments recently about transport across our region. It's an issue people care deeply about, and rightly so. That's why I wanted to explain more about the approach we're taking. By April 2027, we will be a fully operational Local Transport Authority, working closely with our local councils to deliver the best possible service for passengers. I want to do everything I can to make transport more reliable and more affordable for everyone.

Another really positive quarterly board meeting with leaders from Hull City Council and East Riding Council. Last week's Local Growth Plan launch showed what's possible when everyone pulls together. Still plenty to do, but the momentum is there and I'm optimistic about what's ahead.
