This is the ANC I love and still pray for. What a sober political input. So much clarity, principle and conviction that speaks directly to the soul of this august liberation movement we call our political home. Sadly, many of these voices are no longer with us, nor does this kind of input still find resonance within sections of our leadership and broader membership, which is now so deeply fractured by factionalism. What remains, more often than not, is merely the shifting of musical chairs between whichever faction happens to be dominant at a particular moment. And any form of dissent or contra perspective outside the prevailing power bloc gets suppressed in the name of democratic centralism. Cry for our beloved movement.
