This is the ANC I love and still pray for. What a sober political input. So much clarity, principle and conviction that speaks directly to the soul of this august liberation movement we call our political home. Sadly, many of these voices are no longer with us, nor does this kind of input still find resonance within sections of our leadership and broader membership, which is now so deeply fractured by factionalism. What remains, more often than not, is merely the shifting of musical chairs between whichever faction happens to be dominant at a particular moment. And any form of dissent or contra perspective outside the prevailing power bloc gets suppressed in the name of democratic centralism. Cry for our beloved movement. Vukani magwalandini, iyemka lento yokhokho bethu kunye namaqhawe ethu #ANC114 🖤💚💛

Say what you want, but one thing about the EFF; those guys have nailed down organisational discipline and how to run a proper show. Their PR machinery stays sharp, their rallies are always on point, and when it comes to political optics? Yoh, they get it every time. They know how to command attention, from the visuals, to the tone, to the energy, everything just lands right with their audience. Masters of theatrics, and they play to their crowd with precision. Honestly, well done to Juju and Happy 12th Birthday to the EFF. #EFFTurns12

With all due respect, and sincerely so without malice, I must express my doubts about former Justice Sisi Khampepe’s capacity, and energy at this particular moment more so when thinking about the strenuous work it shall be to chair this Judicial Commission of Inquiry into TRC cases. From what I observed with both dismay and shock during today's press briefing which is totally different in a way from her last appearance at the Johannesburg Commission of Inquiry into the Usindiso building in 2023 and 2024; it seems to my heartfelt concern and opinion that the demands of such intense work may exceed her current energy. I believe President Ramaphosa must act judiciously and with due consideration, reviewing his decision to appoint the esteemed former Justice Sisi Khampepe if indeed my eyes and hears ain't deceiving me, and surely what am seeing and hearing is what am thinking, so to ensure that this critical commission is led with the vigor and focus it truly requires. 🇿🇦⚖️ 🙏🏼

I’m really starting to worry about something am slowly but surely picking up with the incumbent Public Protector Advocate Nompilo Kholeka Gcaleka. There’s an unbecoming pattern in how she approaches certain high-profile investigations; especially in my view that involves the President, and it’s seriously beginning to feel somewhat off for my liking. On the surface, it looks like inconsistency in her findings, but when you zoom in a bit more, you than start to see a very strange and worrisome consistency too — particularly when it comes to how she handles anything involving the incumbent President. It’s almost as if, no matter the issue or even the seriousness of the allegation, President Ramaphosa comes out clean, while someone else ends up carrying the blame for the same charge or allegation. Take the whole Phala Phala saga, for instance. Advocate Gcaleka didn’t find the President guilty of any wrongdoing there — not because the situation wasn’t questionable or murky, but solely because, as she put it in her findings, the “transaction wasn’t perfected.” Instead, she shifted the responsibility or blame to Major-General Wally Rhoode, the then head of the Presidential Protection Unit (PPU). The focus was no longer on the head of state but on the man meant to protect him, as if the issue begins and ends with the security detail. That raised eyebrows then, and now again, she’s done something similar. Today, she's released another report where the President has been cleared again — this time on allegations of power abuse and maladministration. Again, the Public Protector says in her report that the allegations against President Ramaphosa are not substantiated. But who catches the blame? The former Premier of the Free State, Mme Sefora Hixsonia "Sisi" Ntombela, for the same charge or allegation. This is now becoming a concerning unbecoming pattern — the same type of allegations keep bouncing off the President, while others are held accountable in his place. Look, I don’t want to sound cynical, but this approach doesn’t sit well with me. It makes the Office of the Public Protector look selective, possibly even biased, or politically motivated and that’s very dangerous and disheartening for a Chapter 9 institution that’s meant to serve as a watchdog over all public officials, no matter how high up they are. If the Public Protector is unable or unwilling to hold the most powerful office in the land accountable, then it casts a long shadow of doubt over the entire institution. And when that happens, ordinary people start losing trust — and when trust in institutions breaks down, so does the health of our constitutional democracy. I’m seriously saying this with all due respect: if Advocate Gcaleka’s personal hesitations, caution or loyalties prevent her from standing up to the Presidency when it’s required, then her presence in that office might end up doing more harm than good. That office doesn’t belong to her, or any personal considerations in any shape or form — it belongs to the people of South Africa. It’s not about who she favours or fears. It’s about accountability. And right now, the pattern in my zero opinion is troubling. ⚖️ 🇿🇦

The 2017 ANC Conference was absolutely a done deal long before December of that year. Certain political actors in our country both within and outside the ANC, had already colluded against uMama Dr. Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini-Zuma (NDZ). In their minds, they believed that by blocking her, they were punishing or humiliating JZ, as if he was the one running for a third term through her. Let’s be honest: men came together and simply decided she must not win the ANC Presidential contest. As simple as that.... #ANC113 🖤 💚 💛

An End of an Era The passing of Dr. SD Gumbi marks the end of an era in my view; a giant of the old gospel has departed. Tsiii! Thina sikhulele kwinkonzo yeVangeli, sicula amacilongo, sihamba iSunday School from the African Gospel Church tradition kwelaBhayi and so much of our spiritual upbringing is intertwined with the sound and presence of this servant of God. This is indeed heartbreaking news to receive and to accept. Go well, son of God, father, and true servant of the Body of Christ. Your slow yet steady and powerful voice, your ministry, your unwavering devotion within the broader mission of the body of Christ have undoubtedly touched countless hearts, lives, and homes. You carried the Gospel with grace, with discipline, and with power. I wholeheartedly extend my deepest condolences to the Gumbi family, his ministry, and the entire Body of Christ. You have lost a pillar and so have we all. At this time, let us all take shelter and strength from the holy scriptures as written: 📖🕯️🙏🏼 > "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness." ~ Matthew 25:23 > "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." ~ 2 Timothy 4:7 > “Then I heard a voice from heaven say, ‘Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ‘Yes,’ says the Spirit, ‘they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.’” ~ Revelation 14:13 > “The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.” ~ Isaiah 57:1-2 > “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants.” ~ Psalm 116:15 Rest in peace, Dr. SD Gumbi, and rise in glory. 🕊️ ❤️

I equally hold the same view as Comrade Tlangi Mogale: CoT MMC Roads&Transport🖤💚💛 🇿🇦 when it comes to the now expelled former ANC President, Jacob Zuma. She has captured and summarised the matter perfectly. --- DISCLAIMER: I don’t own any copyright © of this video or monetise from this content.
