Hello, My name is Jake " The Journeyman " Maggio. My life long dream was to play in a Division 1 Football Game since I was a young kid. the life lessons I took from each step in my journey will forever change my life and make me the best person I could be. During infancy I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and many learning disabilities / social disorders. I graduated high school at 5-6 140 lbs. My whole life I was told I was too small. in my final season of NCAA eligibility I fulfilled my dream and was apart of an outstanding program. Rudy Ruettiger’s story inspired me greatly from a young age and gave me hope in every aspect of life. Nothing in this lifetime is impossible if you set your mind to it.
