No exact word on Joelinton, but all three players will be back and involved at the training camp in La Manga and should therefore be involved against Valencia. 🇪🇸 Valencia 1–2 Newcastle Matthias Jaissle kicks off his Newcastle tenure with a win! A second-half double from Yoane Wissa completed the comeback against a 10-man Valencia side. There is encouraging news regarding Anthony Elanga, who was stretchered off after a reckless challenge from José Gayà. The winger is already up and walking; the injury has been confirmed as a shin contusion and isn't believed to be serious. Further positives for Jaissle included strong substitute appearances from new signings Bazza Touré and Sean Steur, helping spark the come-from-behind victory. The arrogance of Man United fans is always in a league of its own! Listen to this clip, courtesy of The United Stand. So Almiron, Longstaff, Schär, Burn aren't 'United quality' huh! What does that even mean!? How disrespectful. These aren't the Ferguson years anymore, wake up, you're not even the biggest club in Manchester anymore! The noisy neighbours are no more, they are the benchmark! I'd rather have a player like Fabian Schär who cost £3m in our defence than an overpriced Harry Maguire at £80m anyday etc! I'd rather have Miggy or Gordon bombing down the wing than Antony! No 'flashy names' huh!? You keep signing the trash 'names' you have and we will keep up unearthing gems, hardworkers, leaders and one-offs like Guimarães, Isak, Trippier, Gordon and Botman. Our club may of won nowt for ages and suffered like hell under cA$hley but we have good, sensible owners, with a plan of evolution over revolution and I'd take that any day over the entitlement and arrogance from supporters of the glory club.
