I’ve come to realize that many of these so-called “LawTubers” are actors. They’re playing a role, and YouTube is their stage. They are not there to explain the law—they’re there to entertain an audience that rewards them with Super Chats, memberships, and donations. So they give their viewers exactly what they want to hear, even if that means misrepresenting the law, making false statements and inaccurate legal claims, defending the indefensible, or excusing and even encouraging the harassment and intimidation of witnesses. The damage this does is enormous. It destroys public trust in the justice system, distorts how people understand the courts, and misleads viewers about the rights of victims, witnesses, and defendants alike. When lawyers stop acting like lawyers and start acting like performers, the justice system becomes just another form of entertainment. This can’t be the future.

First, Meg Kennedy is NOT testifying in Matthew Farwell’s trial. She was on the PROSECUTION’S witness list, but she is not being called to testify, as far as she knows. And let’s be VERY clear: She was NEVER a witness for the defense. Second, Meg NEVER said Sandra Birchmore attempted self-harm in high school. In fact, she said the EXACT OPPOSITE. These are not minor details. These are two completely inaccurate claims presented to an audience as facts. Sandra Birchmore deserves accurate, responsible reporting. Her story is tragic enough without people spreading misinformation and putting words in witnesses’ mouths. This is precisely why credibility matters.

In my life, I’ve never seen anyone talk about a victim’s family the way Turtleboy and his mob do. That is quite a development considering Adam Deitch for District Attorney is currently running for District Attorney of Norfolk County. The defamation, slander, and abuse that has taken place against Jen McCabe, Brian Albert, Brian Higgins, and Colin Albert is nothing short of depraved and reprehensible. As a resident of Norfolk County, I find this extremely concerning.

Mrs. O’Keefe lost her daughter to cancer in 2013. Two months later, she lost her son-in-law. Nearly a decade later, tragedy struck again when she lost her son, John O’Keefe, in 2022. The amount of loss this family has endured is almost impossible to comprehend. What kind of person talks about a grieving mother like this? And what kind of people continue to cheer him on?
