Yesterday morning we welcomed the first A380 to Terminal 2! 🛬 Pier 2, recently completed as part of the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme, is now equipped with brand-new airbridges which are the first of their kind. These innovative bridges can serve everything from a Code F giant like the A380 to a Code C aircraft like the 737, all from the same stand. A huge step forward in flexibility and passenger experience! 💙 Emirates

What does this mean for you? ✅ Drive straight through without stopping at barriers. ✅ Pay remotely after your visit online or by phone. ✅ Register for an autopay account for automatic payments. We're thrilled to announce that Pier 2 is now weathertight, marking a major milestone in Phase Two of the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme (MAN-TP) 🎉 This means the exterior work is complete, and we're now set to begin the exciting next steps — from internal fit-out to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works. Pier 2 is a key part of the airport’s growth, featuring ⬇️ ✈️ 13 new flexible aircraft stands ✈️ Direct boarding access for all gates ✈️ A dedicated airline lounge ✈️ Retail space & ground handling on multiple levels Pier 2 will mirror the look and feel of Pier 1 which was opened in Phase One of MAN-TP.
