I miss this version of the Red Sox so much. 1. The philosophy of “what it’s going to take to win the World Series” and doing what is necessary at the trade deadline to achieve that objective 2. The proper application of analytics (not using them to run your organization but rather to make tweaks and plug holes) 3. The mentality that playing .500 baseball is completely unacceptable

I would trade Christian Gonzalez. I do not believe in resetting the market at cornerback in the NFL. I just think it’s so hard to sustain that elite level of play at CB. There are a million examples of this over the years. Trade him now, get picks, don't let it get messy.
