So tonight I was asked last minute to attend the prestigious Oxford Union and participate in a debate with the motion of “This house would not fight for King and country” I had no time to prep, had never been in a debate before, was completely out of my comfort zone but… ⬇️⬇️⬇️

In 2010 when I was medically discharged from the military Charlie Hobson (who at the time was CEO of The Royal Marines Association) gave me a job. My only other options according to a recruitment agency were labourer on a building site or check out assistant in a supermarket, both great jobs but not ones that lit my fire or I felt I could put my heart and soul into. After his time at the RMA & various other jobs Charlie then started working for Rock 2 Recovery UK who many of you know are an incredible organisation that have helped and saved thousands of lives within the Veteran & Emergency Services Community. Well after decades of helping and supporting others Charlie is finally retiring and I’m doing what I can to help him walk off into the sunset to spend time with his family. Before he goes he wants to do one more fundraiser to try and raise as much money as possible for Rock2Recovery so they can continue to do the incredible work that they do. Please take a minute to watch this video and see what we’re doing and then if you can please hit the link below to donate towards Charlie’s final hurrah.

I’m not gunna lie…. THIS SUCKED!!! This Saturday I’m attempting to break a World Record and take my JustGiving page to £1,000,000 for REORG Charity. Normally I’d have some sort of training program I would have stuck to in the run up to such an event, but I’ve been travelling so much for work it hasn’t been easy so this morning was my first training session. The idea is to pull a truck 100m which I found out this morning is much harder than I had anticipated. It’s also extremely difficult to find completely flat ground but as always we did what we could with what we had. Throw into the mix that I have surgery tomorrow and it’s gunna be a hectic week, however…. the mission remains. There are men and women out there from the Military and Emergency Services who need what REORG offers so I’ll suck it up and crack on regardless. I’d appreciate and help you could give me with spreading the word and sharing the challenge. If you’d like to donate the link is below and if you want to watch we’ll be live on BBC Breakfast this Saturday. Thank you 29 Commando for the use of your car park and the Ford UK Ranger, and thanks to Sam Sheriff as always for the support 🛻🦾🛻
