I met a real "Most Alberta Woman" yesterday in Cremona. Her name is Alana Miller. She and her husband are cattle ranchers. She showed up in her SUV, with a small child in the back seat. She was still wearing her work clothes. She was in a mild panic. "Did I miss it? Are you guys closed?" She desperately wanted to sign the petition. She came prepared with 5 documents to prove her identity and her physical address. Everyone there was taken aback by her smile and enthusiasm. She is the future of Alberta, and we all knew it. I asked her if I coud film her, and I'm so glad she agreed.

You will not lose your Canadian passport in an independent Alberta. That's just pure fear-mongering by the "stay" side because they have no other argument. All they have is fear and nostalgia (for a Canada that basically no longer exists). Canada has fully recognized dual citizenship since 1977. There is no requirement to renounce Canadian citizenship when acquiring another. A Canadian-born person does not lose their citizenship simply because their province leaves Confederation. Canadian law protects citizenship by birth on Canadian soil. Most Albertans have deep family, cultural, and economic connections across Canada. None of those ties will be broken because of independence.

I started filming, because the sight of a camera usually gets them to back off. She ripped my shirt while trying to grab my phone. I'm used to filming. If you haven’t watched it, I recommend you watch Landman. It's a great series about the Texas oil patch created by Taylor Sheridan, the producer of Yellowstone. I love how Americans celebrate their oil industry instead of trying to destroy it, like we do here in Canada. Billy Bob Thornton was born for the role of landman, Tommy Norris. Here he drops a whole bunch of truth bombs about wind energy, and the fact that we have no choice but to keep producing oil. The patch was extremally good to me, and I'm happy that a second generation of my family is going into it as well. You want to put us out of business, stop buying oil, I'm not worried, you won't stop.

The "find out" phase of Canadian history is awesome to witness. Here's a video from a few days ago taken in Montreal. A cyclist thought stops signs were just optional. She lives, but she has terrible injuries. I personally find cyclists to be some of the most insufferable assholes on our streets. The rules that apply to vehicles, and exactly the same for bikes. You don't have an automatic right of way, especially at intersections. And take your fucking earbuds out.

He can't read the room (or he's under someone's total control). His absolute stubbornness on this issue will be his demise. This won't end well for him, and I don't just mean at the polls. I'm honestly worried that he's pushing Canadians to their breaking point, and someone will snap. I get a shock everywhere I see my home heating bill, or fuel up my car. I get mad, I get depressed, but I still have the ability to deal with the extra costs. Not everyone else can. He's deliberately hurting Canadians. He's basically sacrificing us to supposedly save planet Earth. We're less than 0.5% of the world's population.
