I do not speak about politics often on this account. But this time I will. He was eighteen. He was stabbed five times on a street in Southampton, UK. And in the minutes that decided whether he lived or died, the police handcuffed him, the victim, because his killer told them he was the aggressor and called him a racist. They did not believe Henry when he said he had been stabbed and could not breathe many times. By the time they understood, he was gone. His death was not just the failure of a few individuals at the scene. It was the failure of a system that has lost its moral compass. A system of murderous empathy. A court has since ruled that the killer's story was, in the judge's own words, wholly false. The force has apologised for arresting a dying boy. But Henry is still dead. For years our institutions have been shaped by ideas that sort people into fixed categories of victim and offender before the facts are known. These frameworks distort judgment at every level. Some learn to wield an accusation as a shield. Others, placed in authority, grow so afraid of being called biased that they abandon basic fairness and ordinary courage. The result is paralysis, confusion, and injustice, and on that night it was fatal. This is not compassion. It is moral chaos, it is a true racism and it destroys real lives. It took Henry's. It will take more if we keep pretending nothing is wrong. I honor Henry by refusing to look away. We owe him a society built on responsibility, equal treatment and same rules for everyone, and the courage to say plainly what is happening in front of us. Henry Nowak should still be alive.

LLMs are big. really big. Don't get me wrong, I love a good trillion parameter neural nettworks built by american supercompanies runing somewhere in the sunnyvalleys. But it’s still incredibly satisfying to prove the underlying math of the cosmos fits on an old Atari in a way. A discrete, offline simple but still real generative AI running at 1.79 MHz? Centrální mozek lidstva? Don't panic. Here is your towel.

🕹️ Is this the smallest language model in the world? I just managed to squeeze JAM, real artificial intelligence into 30 kilobytes, running on a 1979 Atari 800. Just A Model. Fully generative, deterministic language model, powered by a neural network and built to run on 8‑bit hardware. Atari Forever.

Did you know that 8 million users for whom we have data on Steam played for an average of 188 hours and paid an average of 30 USD gross in #Dayz? That means we received less than 10 cents for an hour of live online gaming, for which we host the online infrastructure and have been updating it for 10+ years. Yet Dayz Frostline is currently being review-bombed on the same platform for being too expensive: $26.99 for "just a map," and some users demand "gimme more for less money." Hmm. Please Please Me.

Just found my short home video from 2012 - the early DayZ Mod days. It brought back so many memories... ❤️ Thank you, DayZ 🖥 🎮 ❤️ team, to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey, Dean Hall , Sumrak and everyone of so many countless hard working developers and artists, past and present contributors to this once in a lifetime project. And a massive thank you to our amazing DayZ community. Because this is your story.🫶 What started as a social experiment and mod for Arma 2 transformed into something that changed everything for Bohemia Interactive. I hear some say I favour Arma, and others think I prefer DayZ. The truth is—there would be no DayZ without Arma, and Arma wouldn't have reached these heights without DayZ. They're two sides of the same coin that made gaming history, and both are also the cornerstones of what Bohemia Interactive is building for the future. I know we've had our share of passionate discussions (sometimes heated ones!), but that passion comes from a place of love for the game. I know when players get upset, it is because they care so deeply about this world we've all built together. But also please remember - behind every update, every fix, every feature are real people pouring their hearts into this game. Believe me, they take the criticism and suggestions always very seriously. Today, over 500 Bohemians are working tirelessly across all our projects, bringing their creativity and dedication to make these worlds come alive. Here's to the memories we've made and the adventures still to come! Have a great weekend everyone🎮✨ #DayZ #BohemiaInteractive #Gaming #GameDev

Arma Reforger still has some rough edges, and many areas can be improved further. Yet, it is quite an achievement, especially for a multiplatform game! The power of Enfusion Engine combined with the passion and talent of the Arma Platform Reforger team, the great Xbox Series X and very open-minded folks at Microsoft Xbox deliver something that was in fact never achieved on consoles before (see note /): An authentic, diverse military open-world online game with support for user modifications. Big kudos to everyone at Bohemia who made it possible and the splendid Arma community. You are all indeed the best. The Enfusion-powered future of Arma is here. /note: something quite similar was achieved in 2005 on the very first Xbox 1, the actual 1, using an exploit of a replay card by our innovative Operation Flashpoint Elite community/
