Ferit is trapped in a cycle of self-blame and depression, where his mind constantly convinces him that everything is his fault. Even in situations where he hasn’t done anything wrong, he experiences guilt and exhibits self-sabotaging behaviors. This stems from his inner critic - a deeply ingrained negative voice fueled by low self-esteem - that distorts his perception of reality, making him believe he is responsible for the worst possible outcomes. His mind plays tricks on him, reinforcing the belief that he deserves the blame and accusations others might direct at him. In the current situation, Ferit had already warned Suna against taking any risks, fully aware of the potential dangers and emotional consequences. In this trailer his inner critic is urging him to confess the truth to Seyran, suggesting that doing so will alleviate her pain. Deep down, he recognises that revealing the truth will deeply wound Seyran and irreparably damage her relationship with her sister which will distract her decrease her feeling sorrow for her - something he had previously underestimated in ep 7. The intense emotional fallout from that situation, followed by chaotic events, left him with a lingering sense of guilt. Now, faced with a similar dilemma, he is desperately trying to avoid making the same mistakes, driven by fear of reliving that emotional turmoil. His statement to Seyran “I can’t be a father” and his tendency to push her away are not only linked to his recent suicidal ideation and to the Suna’s situation but also rooted in the unresolved trauma of past experiences. In this same situation, Seyran’s past reactions had a profound impact on his psyche, reinforcing his deep-seated feelings of inadequacy and shame. Her words echo in his mind, contributing to his self-doubt and emotional withdrawal: •She didn’t believe him when he told the truth. •She accused him of being “dirty,” reinforcing his negative self-image. •She questioned why these things always happen to him, fueling his internalised guilt. •She expressed doubt, implying her sister might have a different story. •She rejected the idea of having children with him, reinforcing his feelings of unworthiness. •His attempts to be honest and protect her relationship with Suna were met with skepticism and blame. It appears to me that Ferit’s current behaviour - his withdrawal, his tendency to push Seyran away, and his struggle with feelings of unworthiness - all stem from these deeply rooted experiences and emotional wounds. The harsh words and accusations he faced in the past - whether from Seyran or others - have reinforced his inner critic, making him believe that he is inherently flawed and undeserving of love or trust. When I compare the past situations the harsh words and accusations he faced in the past with the statements his inner critic now tells him, I can see a strong similarity. I believe that the negative messages he internalised from those around him have become deeply ingrained in his psyche, fueling his self-destructive thoughts and reinforcing his belief that he is unworthy. As a result, he now operates from a place of fear, guilt, and self-doubt, trying to protect himself and others from further pain by distancing himself. This is where his behavior is coming from - his actions are not driven by a lack of love or care, but by his deep-seated belief that he will only cause harm, no matter what he does.

Last season, Suna was trapped in a cycle of resentment and ambition and guilt. Kaya offered her multiple chances to mend their relationship, but she kept him at arm’s length - using him as leverage to secure her place in the Yali. One moment, she demanded a divorce; the next, she manipulated him with gaslighting. She was scheming with Ifakat and the fortune teller against her sister. It wasn’t until Seyran was kidnapped and tortured that Suna’s guilt surfaced. She confessed to herself that she, not Seyran, deserved such suffering. Yet even when Kaya proposed moving to London together, and starting a new life, Suna refused. Fear may have shaken her, but it never shattered her envy or her hunger for power, her morals took over and she repressed those feelings again temporarily. Now, history repeats itself. Abi reaches for her again like Kaya did, offering a life together in his mother’s mansion, a chance to build something real. But Suna turns him down - this time without hesitation, without regret. Gone is the inner conflict between her morals and ambition. She has fully embraced the darkness within her, no longer torn but driven, resolute. The horror that befell Ifakat will not stir her conscience as Seyran’s suffering once did. This time, Suna will pursue her ambitions ruthlessly. But unlike before, no innocent will pay the price - only Suna will face the consequences of the path she’s chosen.

The beauty of this scene 🤍✨ SeyFer were opening up, they were saying things they have already said, but the difference is that now the noise around them is quieter, and they are able to hear each other. And most importantly, Seyran had time to process her anger and Ferit to face his fears. ⁃What’s been said and not spoken They start by Ferit apologising for her witnessing all of this, acknowledging how painful the whole situation is for her and she goes for a mature approach, leaving her feelings aside advising him not to act reckless to handle this with composure so he won’t make mistakes that he may regrets later, despite her feelings she was genuinely guiding Ferit towards the right path, like always, forever his compass. And he explains with regret the reason of his anger, it’s not about the possibility that the baby may not be his, but about the costs, this lie costed him his home and broke his marriage. “My nest/home is broken because of this…” #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer

Yali Capkini national anthem and most iconic ending scene 🔥🥃🚬 You don’t get it, it’s not about needing you but wanting you. I stayed because I wanted to, not because I had to. Now, I’m leaving because I choose to, not because you asked me to. Don’t be sad for me, you are free, go back to her or keep searching in every face you meet, you will never find what you’re looking for, for they can never be me. And maybe then, you will finally see… You have lost me. I don’t need your rescue, I need you to want me… #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer

In this scene where Ferit finds Seyran with Halis in the morning, it’s clear that Seyran already knew Ferit was in trouble. She had known this since the night before, even if she didn’t yet fully understand the specifics. From her expression, she appeared harsh with Ferit - perhaps even a bit angry - and Ferit already knew, he was afraid of her reaction when he first saw her with Halis, it was not about their little love quarrel and jealousy nor about him drinking and the dancers, but Halis’s words reveal that she had already smoothed things over and prepared the ground for Ferit. By getting Halis not to question Ferit and praising him instead, Seyran stepped in to protect him, softening the situation and helping him out. #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer

After giving it more thought, I believe there’s more to Seyran’s actions than it initially seemed. She disappeared for the entire day, didn’t show up at Gulgun and Esme’s restaurant on the day her mother needed her support the most, and didn’t lend a helping hand. Still wearing the same clothes, she even managed to trick Ferit into losing their bet by “seducing” him for a kiss, solely to ask him the question and hear the truth from him. She left Ferit in the room afterward and only went to see Halis at the end of the day. It’s also worth noting that she knows the address where Ferit signed the papers the night before. For me, it feels highly likely that Seyran spent the day investigating or devising a plan, once again stepping in to cover for Ferit, just as she had earlier that morning. In their last conversation, Seyran expressed to Ferit her thoughts on how their relationship might have been different if they had grown up in different families, free from the burdens they carry. She spoke of how these pressures have crushed and suffocated them both. Meanwhile, Ferit is grappling with a growing weight of suppressed emotions. He is overwhelmed by the responsibilities he has taken on alone, and his psychological state is beginning to unravel under the strain. Whether her approach is right or wrong, or whether it involves going behind Ferit’s back -because Ferit, too, might try to stop her if he knew- Seyran will always step in to protect him. She’s willing to take the weight off his shoulders, even if it means making sacrifices herself. #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer

The details in this scene and Mert acting👌🏻 Ferit picked up from where he left off, after everything he went through this seems too good to be true for him and it shows. When he was asking Seyran for a second chance and she agreed his surprise saying “ vallahi mı?” was real. Lying next to her again, seems so unreal to him that he was watching her, touching and admiring her but having the same facial expression he had since he knew about Pelin pregnancy - fear of losing her. He was afraid even to get too excited or too happy that it might not last, the smile on his face was hesitant and doubtful, every time a small smile is drawn on the corner of his lips, it quickly fades and his face tenses up again. The fear and uncertainty were written all over his face when he asks her “you will stay now forever here right, you’re not going anywhere?” and when she confirms, a wide smile spread across his face, only then he was relieved. #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer

I needed time to collect my thoughts before coming back here - that’s why I asked for your opinion yesterday and left. Here’s what I’ve gathered: First, I will set aside Suna and Ferit’s scenes since they were intentionally made ambiguous, and focusing on them alone might be confusing. Interestingly, in the same episode where they hint that Ferit might be just like his father (or perhaps even worse), they also show Orhan and İfakat slipping back into their old habits, with Gülgün silently witnessing it all in the Yalı. The transition between Seyran and Ferit hugging on the couch and Suna breaking down alone in her room sharply contrasts with İfakat leaving Orhan’s room and Gülgün watching in pain. The doubt cast over what truly happened between Ferit and Suna is clearly meant to serve the plot, but these silent transitional scenes subtly reveal the underlying truth. - It’s all about contrast and balance!!! Ferit will never be his father, Seyran was never Gülgün, and Suna is weak, she will always be dismissed - unlike Ifakat.

In this scene, Ferit couldn’t bear to watch Teşko yearning for the love and affection he never received from his own parents. The sight was painfully familiar, stirring memories of his own childhood. Overwhelmed, he left the room to hide his tears. It was just like in season 1 when he watched Esme shower Seyran with love, witnessing the happiness he had never known. As Ferit saw Seyran hugging Teşko, tears in her eyes, he felt an overwhelming sense of relief and happiness. He saw himself in Seyran’s embrace, and in that moment, he knew - Seyran would give Teşko the love and warmth he had always longed for as a child. When Ferit says, “Seyran is my everything,” he truly means it. She is the love of his life, his mother, his friend, his anchor - his everything. Since the moment she entered his life, she has filled the void left by the affection he never received, and he knows she will be the mother Teşko so desperately needs. Her tenderness, kindness, and love will embrace not only him - healing his inner child - but also Teşko and he is happy to give him that. With Seyran by his side - grounding him, guiding him, and filling his heart with love - Ferit knows he will become the father he has always dreamed of being. Together, they will break the cycle of broken children, replacing pain with love, neglect with affection, and creating a safe, nurturing home for themselves and their children. Through their love, they will heal each other, not just for themselves but through their children as well. 🥹🤍✨

The idea revolves around Ferit’s inner critic, a personification of his low self-esteem, insecurities, and fears. This critic also embodies his immoral and unfiltered side, constantly pushing him to embrace the worst version of himself. It feeds him the belief that he is worthless and that everyone would be better off without him. If the critic fails to convince Ferit that he has failed his loved ones, it might shifts tactics - poisoning his relationships by badmouthing those closest to him and driving Ferit to act recklessly against them and even attempt to harm them, doubting their love and loyalty. However, the key exception is Seyran. Even the inner critic, as twisted as it is, loves her and believes Ferit is unworthy of her. It cannot shake Ferit’s love for Seyran nor his faith in Seyran’s love. This creates a conflict within the critic itself, forcing it to go against its own destructive nature. Ultimately, Seyran becomes the critic’s undoing, marking its inevitable downfall.

— Suna And her blue colour.💙 Suna is a grey character, she has both good and bad side, that she tries to keep hidden. She shares her mother’s colour’s bleu. Suna loves Seyran there is no doubt about that, but she is envious. She compares herself, her beauty, her life, her luck, her happiness, sadness and even pain with Seyran’s. She is in a way her father’s daughter, she dreamed of an arranged marriage, raised like a princess -kinda of-, she was then waiting for the Prince charming - wealthy and decent. Quite the fairytale. Naïve, unconfident and with a low self esteem, life hit her hard when during her engagement day, her sister was chosen instead of her. Triggering all her insecurities, she turned dark and was seeking revenge from the closest person to her heart and even after knowing and understanding it’s not because of her or her silliness - this doesn’t take off the fact that indeed Ferit chose Seyran over her and not only that, he is madly in love with her. The fairytale she dreamed of. She ended up accepting it but she never got over it. #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer

- I know it myself… I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since I first saw you. - Don’t lie to me. When you first saw me, you didn’t even like me. You looked at me so strangely… Ahh, Nisamcım, if only you knew… He felt the same warmth blooming in his stomach that he once felt for Rüya. From the moment his eyes landed on her, something inside him shifted. He fell for her instantly - and he hated himself for it at first. Out of guilt, he tried to fight it, to push it down, but the depth of his feelings was stronger than his resistance. In the end, he was bound to her, helplessly and irrevocably. I knew he hadn’t been completely bluffing with Çiğdem; hidden beneath his words he’d meant to hurt her, there was always a truth he struggled to admit. And now… he finally said it. ❤️🔥🥹 #EşrefRüya #EşSan

This song and this scene, His happiness finding the note she left for him, despite the fight she still protected him, looking at her drawing it’s like her way to express her feelings, to let her anger out after what happened between them, she is different, everything about her is pure and special. And he turns back and looks at her with a sigh, watching her sleeping peacefully, he is mesmerised, she is beautiful in every way and he drops his guard, when she is not watching he can’t hide his burning desire for her, he slowly gets close, breathing her, dying for a kiss but he stops himself, he respects her and he can’t without her consent. He wanted her love and affection, he wants it to be mutual. All he can do is to keep watching her the whole night… He was shy about his feelings back then, afraid and confused he kept struggling, he tried to hide them and at the same time he was screaming his love and exposing himself. Before he leaves the room that night after the fight, he asked her why is she trying to explain herself if she has nothing to fear, why she kicked out Yusuf but was worried about explaining herself to him, he couldn’t see it then but it was because she didn’t care about Yusuf but she do care about him. And then, there it was, first time we see Seyran, just like him, secretly admiring him and longing for him… ❤️🔥 #YalıÇapkını #SeyFer
