Mangiapane brings exactly what Edm needs. ▪︎ great shot ▪︎ high work ethic ▪︎ good skill ▪︎ patience ▪︎ positioning ▪︎ spacing ▪︎ effective hitting ▪︎ high IQ ▪︎ defensively responsible In this highlight video, you get to see his work offensively both with and w/o their puck. The numbers to Mangiapane come with lots to love. ▪︎ 6/7 years with +54% xG share ▪︎ 7/7 years having +50% G share ▪︎ 6/7 years reducing xGA ▪︎ 4/7 years reducing GA ▪︎ 6/7 years increasing xGF ▪︎ 5/7 years increasing GF Consistently throughout Mangiapane's career, he has improved his teams scoring and defensive ability while he is on the ice. So where does he fit? Mangiapane - Draisaitl - Savoie Or Frederic - Tomasek - Mangiapane Using him with Draisaitl (preferred) would maximize Savoie's/Draisaitl's ability as primary chance creators due to their elite passing ability and space creators. If not next to Draisaitl, Mangiapane changes the game for Edm's depth, giving them a line that can outplay/outscore their opponents. Verdict: Mangiapane is versatile. PK, Wing, skill line, or depth line, he brings options to Edm as well as some IQ wherever he plays. There's a high chance he outplays his contract here. Edm's closest comparable is Hyman here. This add is exactly what Edm needed. A+ add.
