Revolut is preparing to launch in the United Arab Emirates as early as 2026, according to The Banker. The company is led by Ambareen Musa, CEO for the GCC and UAE, with 140 employees, and is located on the 43rd to 45th floors at Central Park Towers in Dubai International Financial Centre. In September 2025, Revolut received in-principle approval for its Stored Value Facilities and Retail Payment Services (Category II) licences from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). The licences alow company to issue and operate e-wallets and to offer domestic and cross-border transfers and cards. Revolut is entering an increasingly saturated market, competing with established local giants and digital players. Revolut aims to capture a share of the UAE's massive remittance flows, largely driven by expatriates from India, Pakistan, and the Philippines. The company plans to differentiate itself by offering its multi-currency app with budgeting and investment tools, as well as multilingual support, including Arabic.
