The Mets are losing 6-0. David Peterson was just booed off the mound. New York is on the brink of falling to 11 games below .500. This was the scene at Citi Field in the middle of the sixth inning.

Not sure I’ve ever seen this before. Citi Field played Devin Williams’ entrance song. He started jogging in from the bullpen for a save situation. But Huascar Brazoban also came out of the dugout and took the mound. Williams had to walk all the way back to the bullpen…

Carlos Mendoza was asked today if he’s considered the possibility that the Mets aren’t very good. “I believe in those guys. I will continue to do so. It's my job to get the best of them, it's our job. You've got to believe in your players."

Aaron Judge made history tonight. Judge is now the first player in MLB history to bat .375 or higher and hit 43+ home runs over a 98-game span in a single season. Since April 27, Judge is batting .380/.507/.829 with 43 HR, 104 RBI, 83 BB and 90 R.
