🇯🇵 We needed a few days to really process what just happened. Playing together again after a while, and doing it for the first time ever in Asia, made our Tokyo show something we’ll carry with us for a long time. Thank you for all the messages and love; reading them once everything settled meant a lot. One moment, in particular, will stay with us. Performing “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” in Tokyo was already deeply emotional, but realizing afterwards that it resonated so strongly, even being shared by Mia Sakamoto, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s daughter reminded us why we do this. It’s a gesture that carries an extraordinary musical legacy and a respect that goes beyond words. When music finds its way back to the people and places that protect its soul, everything takes on a deeper meaning. Sometimes, music gives you more than you ever put into it. ありがとう、また近いうちに会いましょう。🤍
