Across Ayodhya, I noticed freshly laid tar roads with consistently smooth surfaces, not a single pothole on roads built in the last 3–4 years... Which makes me wonder: Ehat exactly is Mumbai’s problem with tar roads more specifically of the Western Express Highway (WEH) ? Is it the heavy rainfall, the vehicle load, or something else entirely? In all the Indian cities I’ve travelled to in recent years, I’ve rarely seen tar roads deteriorate this quickly... Meanwhile, near my home in Mumbai, a tar road constructed just five years ago is already in terrible shape. It’s an internal road with light traffic, yet it has met this fate. I will be posting pictures shortly...

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on making Mumbai slum free in 10 years 👇 "We have already started transformation of Mumbai, and with our cluster approach today, I can surely say that it will take 10 years, but in 10 years, we will make Mumbai 100% slum free," Fadnavis said.
