Anas Altikriti expressed disapproval for integration at the Muslim Association of Canada's 2026 convention. "I hate the word integrate. It's a tool to beat the Muslim community with. We don't need to integrate," he said. Altikriti's father allegedly led the Iraqi branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Altikriti himself has led other organizations with alleged extremist organizations including the Muslim Association of Britain and the Cordoba Foundation, both of which are designated terrorist organizations in the UAE. Altikriti appeared via Zoom following a ban on entering Canada prior to the convention.

I know speaking truth can be scary in Canada. It's a country that values conformism even when the prevailing zeitgeist is utterly mental. But I urge you, dear citizen, to find your courage. It's much better to do it sooner rather than later, waiting for the moment to pass. It won't.
