Most people pick tech skills randomly. I did business research first. Studied government contracts, analyzed what Fortune 500 companies actually use, looked for market demand. Passion doesn't pay bills, demand does. Use AI to act like a Gartner analyst and map your learning path. Linux led me to Kubernetes for a reason. Full video is on my youtube channel:
