Congratulations to those who joined my Live2D class. You should now be able to rig an expressive VTuber face tracking! (VBridger rigging will be available on the edited YT video! We did VTS rigging on stream earlier!)

Hi VTuber Live2D rigger here Artists, if your model has beaded bracelets, necklaces, or other accessories, please separate each bead individually! This makes it much easier for your Live2D rigger to preserve the beads’ shape while rigging. For riggers, here’s how I keep them in shape: 1. Create a Rotation Deformer for each bead. 2. Create a parent Warp Deformer that includes all the beads. This gives you much better control over the accessory’s shape and movement!

LIVE2D RIGGERS TIP: I used to do my head angle references on clip studio manually back then but @/TheArtGun has released a 360/180 degree customizable head angle guide called "H.A.G" since last year and I'm surprised that so little riggers know about it Though it's not free, it's a very good investment to make for those who do live2d rigging all the time and wants an accurate head angle ref without having to make it on csp

A YouTube comment asked me: "Why do you use many warp deformers even though you use blendshapes? Why not just use one deformer for all parameters?" I'm not great with words to explain so instead here is a video why I recommend using individual warp deformers for each parameters when skinning! Note: - You can use normal parameters when skinning, it's just that I prefer using blendshapes because you can control it better if I ever want to add animations to it - Using only one warp deformer causes the mesh to expand and shrink when all the skinning parameters are moving left and right. Making the swaying of the mash very unnatural #Live2D

hi live2d rigger here, STOP AVOIDING GLUE IN LIVE2D!!! 1. The paint of the glue depends on which mesh you're clicking first. If you click mesh X first before Y, the X will be the red paint. If you click mesh Y first before X, the Y will be the red paint 2. To change the color of the paint, hold SHIFT while painting! 3. ONLY use the first glue brush option. You can ignore the other ones if you're new to gluing.
