Footage of a Muslim officer being abused at a protest was widely shared this weekend. It happened a few weeks ago and we won’t be resharing the video, but yesterday we saw more of the same. Nobody should have to put up with abuse at work and that includes police officers. Arrests were made in all these incidents and we'll be pushing for charges in every case.

This offender was identified by Live Facial Recognition (LFR). After reviewing the alert, officers arrested him for breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Since static LFR cameras were deployed in Croydon, we’ve made over 170 arrests, including suspects wanted for kidnap, rape, and serious sexual assault.

Watch as police officers confront a man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in north London where two men were stabbed. The suspect refused to show his hands, was violent and continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and tasers, they detained him while he continued to try to attack and stab them. This took true courage.

The event is not due to start for an hour and regrettably officers are already dealing with disorder. There is an area allocated for this event in Richmond Terrace. This group went past it and continued up Whitehall. When officers formed a cordon and asked the group to turn round, they reacted by violently forcing their way through. Mounted officers intervened with horses to restore the cordon.

A repeat offender linked to 26 crimes such as burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles is back in custody. He attempted to flee in a nearby river when officers attended his home but was quickly located by the dog unit and arrested. 👏 Another prolific offender taken off our streets thanks to PD Bowser & his handler.

The Met’s investigation into the Grenfell Tower fire is on track to submit all files for charging decisions to the Crown Prosecution Service by the end of September. Over the course of 7 months there has been a sharp rise in high-value watch robberies in central London worth £4 million. Undercover officers set out patrolling major hotspots in Kensington and Chelsea, the West End and Mayfair to help people impacted by these robberies. Urgent Appeal - Can you help police locate Abdul Ezedi? £20,000 Reward. Abdul Ezedi is wanted in connection with an attack in Clapham which left a woman critically injured. Last confirmed sighting 9.33pm Wednesday 31 January exiting Tower Hill Underground Station, having previously been seen on CCTV at a Tesco store in Caledonian Road one hour earlier. Commander Jon Savell said: “I am hugely grateful to the public for the significant number of calls that we have received. “Your help is critical. A reward of up to £20,000 is now available for information leading to his arrest. “I must warn anyone who is helping Ezedi to evade capture - if you are harbouring or assisting him then you will be arrested.” Anyone with information about Abdul Ezedi is asked to call 020 7175 2784 or for an immediate sighting dial 999.
