The key targets of the terrorist state were residential buildings, energy facilities, transport infrastructure, and other civilian and critical objects. At least 9 people were killed in Ternopil. People may still be trapped under the rubble. Dozens of people in the city and other regions were injured, including children. All of this shows that Russia feels unpunished for its war crimes, and therefore continues to escalate its terror. Ukraine urgently needs stronger air defense – first and foremost, missiles, additional systems, expanded capabilities for our combat aviation, and increased drone production to protect lives.

A shell hit one of the wards, damaging the building where patients and staff were inside. Three medical workers, aged 52, 49, and 21, were injured. They sustained concussions and blast injuries and are now receiving medical care. Hospitals are not military targets. Yet, Russia keeps attacking places meant to save lives. Russia must face consequences every time it chooses violence over diplomacy. Strong decisions and increased pressure must be applied to the aggressor immediately.

It was composed by Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych, born on this day in 1877. Leontovych was a teacher, composer, and choir conductor who dedicated his life to recording and revitalising Ukrainian folk songs. Russia is deliberately waging energy terror against the civilian population. As a result of Russia’s overnight attack against Ukraine, at least 100 people across Ukraine have been injured, and four killed. Kyiv was the main target, but strikes affected multiple locations across Ukraine. Residential buildings, schools, civilian infrastructure, a market and a water supply facility were damaged. In Kyiv alone, 78 people were injured and two killed. Search and rescue operations continue in the capital, where people may still remain under the rubble. Russia continues to wage war not against military targets but against ordinary people. Deliberate attacks on civilians must not become normalised or go unanswered. Ukraine needs continued support and stronger pressure to stop Russia’s terror and bring a just peace closer.

As a result of Russia’s overnight attack against Ukraine, at least 100 people across Ukraine have been injured, and four killed. Kyiv was the main target, but strikes affected multiple locations across Ukraine. Residential buildings, schools, civilian infrastructure, a market and a water supply facility were damaged. In Kyiv alone, 78 people were injured and two killed. Search and rescue operations continue in the capital, where people may still remain under the rubble. Russia continues to wage war not against military targets but against ordinary people. Deliberate attacks on civilians must not become normalised or go unanswered. On April 3, during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine, a veterinary clinic in Chabany, near Kyiv, was struck. Helpless animals, some receiving treatment and others in temporary care, were trapped inside. Emergency teams worked tirelessly to evacuate them, provide oxygen, and stabilise the injured. Tragically, not all could be saved. Russia is deliberately targeting all life and must be held accountable for its ongoing crimes.
