Billy Farwell leaves Boston federal court after his brief testimony given under a federal immunity deal to avoid charges of having sex with Sandra Birchmore while on duty. His twin brother Matt glanced up and then stared straight ahead as his brother described his own affair with Sandra Birchmore beginning in 2018. He testified that he did not know about Sandra‘s relationship with his twin at the time.

Billy Farwell testimony completed. More damaging allegations against the Norfolk County DA CPAC unit made by Farwell on the stand as he testified against his twin brother. Dr William Smock also testified that Sandra Birchmore‘s injuries are more consistent with homicide than suicide. He addressed hee nose injuries I talked about at the very beginning of this trial. More details dropping with my latest Los Angeles Magazine story dropping today

No comment from James Fitton outside Boston’s federal court after his testimony that notes he took from the call regarding Matthew Farwell and his relationship to Sandra Birchmore were destroyed and another Stoughton police officer, one who was acquitted on corruption charges prior to Jan 20, 2021, told him to forget about the call.

Recap of day one including what I saw in these crime scene photos relating to what appeared to be injuries that Sandra Birchmore suffered to her face that weren’t noted in any of the MSP reports, at least the ones I have read. Matthew Farwell was emotionless through much of the testimony today. He did not look up when his colleague Stoughton PD detective Heather Cheeverwas testifying about being a mentor to Sandra Birchmore at the Stoughton Police Department. His attorneys continued to insist that she took her own life and suffered from mental illness. But Sandra Birchmore’s boss, the assistant principal of Sharon elementary school, push back when she was asked if she thought Sandra was suicidal. In June 2024, Cheryl Carlson that assistant principal joined the justice for Sandra Birchmore Facebook page.
