His twin brother Matt glanced up and then stared straight ahead as his brother described his own affair with Sandra Birchmore beginning in 2018. Recap of day one including what I saw in these crime scene photos relating to what appeared to be injuries that Sandra Birchmore suffered to her face that weren’t noted in any of the MSP reports, at least the ones I have read. Matthew Farwell was emotionless through much of the testimony today. He did not look up when his colleague Stoughton PD detective Heather Cheeverwas testifying about being a mentor to Sandra Birchmore at the Stoughton Police Department. His attorneys continued to insist that she took her own life and suffered from mental illness. But Sandra Birchmore’s boss, the assistant principal of Sharon elementary school, push back when she was asked if she thought Sandra was suicidal. In June 2024, Cheryl Carlson that assistant principal joined the justice for Sandra Birchmore Facebook page.
