OSU @ Texas Texas has closed the gap at the skill positions & has the edge defensively (literally). Arch isn’t the better overall QB, but he’s tougher and can improvise in a pinch. DKR is gonna be rocking, and it’s been longer since Texas lost at home than OSU 😉 Hook ‘em 🤘

And now for my raw dog LSU Clemson preview! 😆 LSU has big villain energy, but the talent (esp at O line) to back it up. Any Clemson QB is gonna have a tough time with this pass rush and finding anyone open with this LSU secondary notwithstanding the WRs. LSU by tons

Ohio State at Indiana! Don’t drink to Jeremiah Smith comments! But I do think IU’s pass rush can get to Sayin, esp with a re-shuffled OSU O line. I worry about IU’s offensive efficiency recently, but I trust Cig over Day to keep his team locked in and finish. IU +3.5

I’ve read the SEC’s lawsuit against LSU & I am not impressed. It’s procedurally problematic, equitably suspect, and legally flimsy on the merits. I still believe LSU is dumb for inviting this distraction unnecessarily, but this complaint is unlikely to stop them.

LSU v USC Same story, new QBs, new DCs, great WRs, ?s on D LSU has a better o line, but SC can get more creative with its run game. SC also has an X factor in Branch and a slight advantage in Vegas. SC +4.5 but LSU deserves the W for scheduling these early season games.

PSU vs Northwestern! Chip Kelly has Aiden Chiles playing his best football, and I am a bit more skeptical of Becht against good defenses. Biggest difference is red zone where NW has looked great on both sides of the ball & PSU has not. NW ML in their new crib!

I should be sleeping but I’m too upset about this Sorsby situation. This is the clearest case for NCAA enforcement & YET all of that can be upended by a locally elected judge without any articulated legal basis. This is an existential crisis & I hope the NCAA treats it as such.

Weird day in cfb! 2 thoughts: 1. I’m done taking clockgate too seriously. I’ll only be making jokes about it going forward. 2. The SEC is wildly hypocritical to pull this crap on LSU. Still, LSU made the right call, even tho I selfishly wish they would have fought more 🐆🤝🐅
