They seem to be afraid to talk about legal immigration in case they offend their foreign colleagues or their friend's foreign wife. But we have to be very honest about what's happening in our country, legal immigration is killing us. Our population is growing at 7 times the EU average. The Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan went on RTE news last year and called this out, for once the government was completely honest about immigration and that should have been a turning point. Everything we had discussed for the previous 15 years was legitimised in an instant. On national television we were handed an opportunity to normalise discussion of all immigration, not just "illegals." It's time for Irish people to get serious about our immigration problem, and that means addressing legal immigration. Our population is growing at 7 times the EU average, this is the time for alarm bells!
