Golf nut! I'm an engineer so I can feed my family and play golf. Posts are mainly about golf! Working on a scratch attitude!

If you don't want people chipping on your greens, don't build greens where this is the best play for some hole locations.

What is the proper play here? I chose poorly.

Best golf celebration? Most people will say Tiger's fist pump. Tiger doesn't hold a candle to Chi Chi Rodriguez. This takes forethought and practice to celebrate this well.

This is more impressive to me than driver off the deck. Be honest, how many of you have this shot?

When shot tracer goes wrong! Somehow it seems I hit this 8 iron about 5 miles rather than 20 feet behind the pin. As an aside, this was a great shot...I should look happier after it.

We are making progress. This is miles better than it was a month ago. Still not where it could be though. Golf is hard. Okay, now roast my swing.

Okay, this is my friend. He's seen all the helpful commentary on my swing and wanted some of his own. He's an 8 index with lots of power, but doesn't always know where it's going. Help the man out!

The only negative here is this kid now has to buy drinks for everyone at the golf course because of the dumbest tradition in golf.

The biggest difference between Scottie Scheffler and Tiger? Tiger's competitors wilted. Scottie's competitors still play professional golf. We won't ever see a guy win 82 and 15 again. The field is too good now.

I've never done drugs. But I have watched Jordan Spieth play golf.

What did he shoot? As part of the Bendelow Cup, our head pro, Jay Giannetto, was challenged by the OFCC members to play the Tournament Tees on the North Course after shooting 65 from 6500 on the South. Course Rating: 76.6 Course Slope: 150 Yardage: 7343 Par: 70 Temps: 62-68 degrees Winds: NE 10-15 Conditions: Soft, but not mushy soft OFCC members set the O/U at 78.

I remember when he hit this shot. I didn't remember Johnny saying that he'll probably over cut it into the right rough. Johnny had been watching this for years and still didn't believe Tiger could pull this off.

I don't care where he's playing. I don't care what you think about LIV. One of the few good stories to come out of LIV is the return of AK. No way he tries to come back without the guaranteed LIV dollars. I'm rooting for the guy!

As a chronic early extender who occasionally (currently) suffers from the shanks, where has this drill been my whole life? Seriously, some of you knew about this and just stood by and watched me melt down. You know who you are... 👀

I used to get crap from my playing partners for stepping in like this. Next time someone gives me crap, I'm showing them this video. If it's good enough for Lee Buck, it's good enough for all of us. Aspirational pace of play.

Imagine the level of troll you have to be to make and wear this shirt! Truth be told, I've always been a Sir Nick fan, even when he was gruff and unapproachable. I just liked his game.

Came across this video from Rocco Mediate on IG. Rocco demonstrates the versatility of the 56 degree wedge. It's his most lofted wedge and also mine. I can hit the shots I need to with it, just not as well as Rocco. What's the most lofted wedge you play?

Very few golfers ever truly own their swing. Moe Norman was one who truly owned his swing. I find him fascinating. Such an interesting man. Spend some time watching Moe... arguably the greatest ball striker ever.

Watch how Nelly plays ten at the end of this video. This is going to be fun...it's not going to be hit driver around the green and try to get up and down. We are going to see real wedge shots! This is THE tournament to watch this weekend.

I'm watching this video before my club championship this weekend. Maybe even at the turn. Good stuff from the legend himself.

Hands down the best golf purchase I've ever made is my Alphard V2. I love to walk, and with the V2 that's all it is. I'm not carrying or pushing, I'm just walking. There are some great Black Friday deals at Alphard right now, including $300 off the V2. And if you don't have a push cart, they have an option there too. This video is from my maiden voyage with it back in March. Note: I'm not affiliated with Alphard in any way. I just love the product.

The greatest value in golf, if you can get there. Wild Horse Golf club! Excited to get back there this summer. It's the closest thing publicly available to Prairie Dunes. Worth the trip!
