𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱: 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗧𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 MarsChain is an independent, EVM compatible Layer 1 blockchain built around a consensus concept called Proof of Contribution (PoC). It runs on BSC compatible infrastructure, with its own mainnet, native wallet, block explorer, and native asset, MARS. According to the whitepaper, mainnet integration was completed in early 2026, and the project reports roughly 100,000 miners. The central idea is simple to state. In most networks, miners or validators are paid mainly through newly issued tokens, which can dilute holders and create steady sell pressure. MarsChain takes the opposite approach. Participants permanently burn MARS, and the protocol converts that burn into a measurable production right called Contribution Rate. The core rule is: Burn = Contribution = Contribution Rate. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 The formula is H = B × r(t), where B is the amount of MARS burned and r(t) is the conversion ratio at that time. Rewards are shared in proportion to your Contribution Rate divided by the network total. It is not machine hashrate, it is a right to future block rewards. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝗖 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗪 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗦 The basic formula is H_i = B_i × r(t). Here B_i is the amount of MARS burned by participant i, r(t) is the conversion ratio in effect at that time, and H_i is the resulting Contribution Rate. The execution flow works in five steps. A participant submits a burn. The protocol reads the current r(t) and calculates the new Contribution Rate. A credential tied to the participant's address and NFT identity is minted or updated. The amount is added to the network total, H_total. Future block rewards are then shared in proportion to H_i divided by H_total. The reward function is y_i(t) = R(t) × H_i ÷ H_total(t), where R(t) is the total block reward released at that time. The whitepaper is explicit that Contribution Rate is not physical machine hashrate. It is a protocol defined right to a proportional share of future block rewards. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟴𝟴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 PoC uses a 188 day recovery benchmark as a design anchor. In an idealized scenario where total Contribution Rate and block rewards stay roughly constant, a burn could theoretically generate an equivalent amount of MARS over about 188 days. 𝗡𝗙𝗧𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 Two smart contracts run the identity and incentive layer. PowerContractUpgradeable.sol processes burns, calculates and records Contribution Rate, updates network totals, and executes referral incentives and protocol bonuses. PowerNFTUpgradeable.sol uses the ERC1155 standard to mint and manage miner identity NFTs and to record invitation relationships. Both use the UUPS upgradeable proxy pattern, which allows logic upgrades while keeping contract addresses and on chain state. In MarsChain, NFTs are not collectibles. They are identity credentials. A miner holding the designated NFT can create a personal mining pool. When an invited miner burns MARS and gains Contribution Rate, the inviter receives extra Contribution Rate along the invitation chain: 50% of the invitee's gain for a level 1 inviter and 25% for a level 2 inviter. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 These are two protocol level mechanisms designed to trigger additional deflation under defined conditions. Christmas triggers from December 25 to 31. Oracle triggers if MARS falls 50% from a reference high. Each targets burning 35% of circulating supply over 8 days, with a Contribution Rate multiplier of 10 × 2^(n−1), where n is the halving cycle. Users opt in and receive Contribution Rate, not liquid tokens. MarsChain II $MARS ↪️ 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 🧵⤵️
