I liked the Dorofeyev trade for the Rangers, but trading a 2030 1st for Pettersson is Drury FIGHTING for his job the next 2 seasons, not focusing on the Rangers long term future. Too risky for a 30 year old number 4 defenseman. Also shoutout Hunter S ❀ (Is Unraveled) for the great tweet.

Here’s my reasoning for the Hughes>Makar placement. It’s very close and could change in 6 months, but Hughes has been pretty clearly the best per game D-Man the last 3 regular seasons and this year put any big game doubts to rest after a great Olympics and Playoffs.

I think the Celebrini should win the Hart “if they make the playoffs” qualifier is pretty stupid. If you think he is the most valuable player to his team, he should be your Hart pick. Finishing with 1 more or less point than like LA should not dramatically shift your view.
