Some recent technical details: • Continued optimizing physics simulation to make the skirt's dynamics more natural. • Implemented dithered culling for the camera to ensure better optimization, while isolating camera collision to a separate layer to prevent the camera from getting stuck in walls or clipping through the character. • Separated the character's AO into an independent layer. • Added a restoration mechanism for the skirt after camera culling to prevent clipping in special poses. • Optimized sitting physics based on Squish tech to ensure the skirt doesn't clip through the chair when sitting. • Continuing to create more accessory models in preparation for the upcoming weapon customization mechanics. • Refining the character shader to make them look softer, squishier, and extra cute. • Optimized the interaction detection logic.

Hi! I haven’t been updating Twitter much lately because I’ve been busy developing features related to the “dressing room.” This is roughly the current progress~ Next, I’ll be writing a new dev log on Fanbox.

Fixed a bunch of bugs and made some further improvements to the rendering. I also rebuilt a new graybox scene. That's a wrap for this month. Now I can spend the rest of the time peacefully writing the devlog and working on other things.

Over 10k followers already. During this time, the animation teacher has been helping me complete and share this video with everyone. Thank you all for your support. This is one of my favorite OSTs from the game I’m currently developing, and once again I wrote the lyrics for it — “いつも通り”. I hope everyone enjoys it~ #MizuChronicles #水色戦記
