During the finale of Scream (1996), when Sidney stabs Billy with an umbrella, the prop accidentally hit a real scar on actor Skeet Ulrich’s chest from a previous open-heart surgery. The second stab hit him in the spot, causing a genuine scream and reaction that was not intended. Director Wes Craven decided to keep the take because it was more authentic and effective.
