اہلِ وطن کو یومِ تکبیر مبارک ہو۔ 17 مئی 1998 کو بھارت کے 5 ایٹمی دھماکوں کے جواب میں اس وقت کے وزیرِ اعظم میاں نوازشریف نے فوراً اداروں کو ہدایت کی کہ بھارت کوکڑا جواب دینے کی تیاری کریں۔ پھر 28 مئی کی دوپہر وزیر اعظم نے میرے اور سرتاج عزیز صاحب کے ہمراہ NDC میں حتمی بریفنگ لی جس کے بعد 6 ایٹمی دھماکے کر کے پاکستان کوایٹمی قوت بنا دیا گیا اور ہمارا دفاع ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے ناقابلِ تسخیر بنا دیا گیا الحمدللہ۔ پاکستان ہمیشہ زندہ باد 🇵🇰

Delighted to be in Beijing at the invitation of my dear friend, Foreign Minister H.E. Wang Yi. Our conversations from restricted talks to delegation-level discussions, followed by a warm & gracious dinner, extended over three hours of substantive, thoughtful, and forward-looking exchanges. The Pakistan–China All-Weather Strategic Partnership continues to flourish. We had a productive dialogue on further strengthening bilateral ties, advancing cooperation under CPEC 2.0, enhancing high-level exchanges, and jointly celebrating the upcoming 75th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. We also reaffirmed our close coordination in multilateral fora. On regional developments, we underscored our shared commitment to peace, stability, dialogue, and diplomacy as the path to resolving challenges. Together, we mutually agreed and issued the Five-Point Initiative of China and Pakistan for Restoring Peace and Stability in the Gulf and Middle East. At a time of evolving regional and global dynamics, Pakistan remains committed to proactive diplomacy, stronger strategic partnerships, enhanced economic cooperation with our brotherly countries, and continued efforts for regional peace and stability. I stressed the importance of focused and productive deliberations during the Conference and directed our envoys to present practical recommendations to further advance Pakistan’s diplomatic and economic priorities in the region. We exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and recent developments. I appreciate her kind acknowledgment and support of Pakistan’s role in facilitating the initial US-Iran ceasefire, hosting the Islamabad talks, and our continued efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy for peace and stability.
