Live action. This is a “good” rep by Josh. Feels bull, snatches DE to ground, totally in front of defender and in control. Still makes contact with the QB’s plant leg!! Just don’t love the technique as a go to for bull rush. Look at Fields recoiling his left leg at the end too.

Sound up on this breakdown! Starting it off with a clip that is good enough to be part of anyone's teach tape on how to block inside zone vs. cross dog, and finishing with some excellent backside blocking and understanding of angles and space. Love these two clips!!

Here's my full Will Campbell thoughts. I think his biggest issue is that his punch timing was off. I also think he doesn't use his inside arm well (or at all) and he needs to use that better. Is it an arm length issue? Strength? Vertical sets? To me: no. Timing and technique.

Play 1 for KC, the FIRST SCRIPTED PLAY which means it's one of the best calls of the week and a play you're confident in. Sound up as you watch and listen, I describe it all in the vid. An example of not on the same page in the run game and how that leads to an inefficient run.

FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME and we have a MASSIVE issue with the Chiefs running game. To be very clear I put this on coaching, not Pacheco. The angles are wrong and it takes away what could have been a massive run to start the game. Stuff like this frustrates me endlessly. Sound up.

Here's the other run on the first drive that really frustrated me. You give the RT zero, and I mean ZERO chance of making this block. On paper maybe you're expecting a different defense, or for the LB to bump with motion. But in reality the play is doomed at the snap. Sound up.

Let's talk Chiefs run game and RPOs, volume up on this. There's a lot I don't discuss TBF, but this is about what the lack of a consistent run game allows a defense to do and what it takes away from the players. This is objectively a great play/result! But is it best for this O?
