Democrats have another proposal to raise taxes. A new bill will impose an annual tax on Minnesotans' net worth, not just their income, as well as require yearly valuations of hard-to-value assets that will shift investment and money out of the state.

The Walz Admin skipped a hearing this morning where a whistleblower was set to testify about fraud inside the Department of Human Services. Minutes after the hearing, the department showed up in the same room for a DIFFERENT committee asking lawmakers for more money. This is the same department largely responsible for allowing the $9 billion theft of your taxpayer dollars.

Democrats say holding Tim Walz and Keith Ellison accountable after $9 BILLION of your money was lost to fraud is “petty,” “unserious,” “dumb,” and “harebrained.” What’s “unserious” is losing $9 billion and acting like it’s no big deal. Asking questions and demanding consequences isn’t "harebrained". It’s our job.

WOW: Fraud Chair Kristin Robbins says whistleblowers reported the Walz administration shut down the Criminal Investigation Unit for Child Care Fraud after the Legislative Auditor exposed CCAP fraud in 2019.
