Just a few hours ago, everything was normal… and suddenly, everything changed. 💔 Bombing, explosions, and gunfire from every direction—and the bombardment in Khan Younis is still ongoing at this very moment. We were forced to go down to my aunt’s house and take shelter there, trying to protect ourselves from the explosions, shrapnel, and gunfire all around us. What have children done to deserve living through this terror? Why should they tremble in fear instead of living their childhood in safety? Please keep us in your prayers… May we make it through this night safely. 💔🙏

How can life change in just a single moment? Only moments ago, there was laughter, joy, and play. I was doing everything I could to create a few happy memories for my daughter, Rafif — small moments of happiness for a child who deserves nothing but a normal childhood. And then, suddenly… everything changed. Powerful explosions. Walls shaking. Buildings trembling. And our hearts feeling as though they were about to burst from our chests with fear. Is this justice? Do we deserve all this pain and terror? At any moment, you may hear that Rafif’s entire family is gone. The days will pass, life will move on, and perhaps we too will be forgotten, as so many others have been forgotten. But Rafif was here. She was a little girl who dreamed of growing up, laughing more, and living a life like every other child in this world. If you remember anything, remember Rafif.

Please, my daughter Rafif needs your sincere prayers now more than ever.😭💔🙏 Her fever has risen significantly, and I am doing everything I can to bring it down with medication and cold compresses, but my heart grows more worried with every passing moment. Please don’t forget my daughter Rafif in your prayers. 🙏🙏 May God protect her and grant her a full and speedy recovery.

This morning, Gaza witnessed one of the largest funeral processions in the history of the Palestinian cause. 💔🇵🇸 More than two years have passed, yet the victims of a massacre committed in Gaza City in November 2023 remained trapped beneath the rubble. To this day, only 112 martyrs have been recovered out of the 302 people who were at the site of the massacre, while dozens are still missing beneath the debris. In Gaza, children were killed. Women were killed. Entire lives were destroyed. The pain of Gaza has never ended, and families are still waiting to recover their loved ones so they can finally lay them to rest with dignity—even if all that remains are fragments of their bodies.

A little while ago, a dove came and rested on the edge of the place where we live. 🕊️ My daughter Rafif looked at it with wonder—it was the first time in her life she had seen a dove this close. For a moment, I felt as if this dove had not come by chance, but was carrying a small message of hope amid everything we are going through… that relief is near, and that freedom and peace for Rafif and our family may finally be close. 🤍🕊️ Please keep us in your prayers during these days. Pray for Rafif and all the children of Gaza to live without fear, beneath a safe and peaceful sky.

Alhamdulillah, our trip today to the Al-Mawasi area was beautiful and successful, but it also brought back so many memories and emotions. ♥️ We visited the home that opened its doors to Rafif’s family and welcomed us three different times during this war, without ever asking for anything in return. They received us with nothing but love, respect, and generosity. The first time was from December 2023 until April 2024. The second time lasted only one week, but it is a week that will remain in our memories forever, because Rafif was born during that week while we were in Al-Mawasi. After that, we returned once again. Our third displacement there lasted from May 2025 until April 2026, before we moved to central Khan Younis. No matter how many days or years pass, this family will always remain in our hearts. We will forever carry love and gratitude for them that words could never fully express. They opened their home to us during some of the hardest days of our lives and shared their space, safety, and whatever they had with us, asking for absolutely nothing in return. ❤️ No matter how much Rafif’s family tries to repay their kindness, what they did for us will always be far greater than anything we could ever give back. And to every person who has stood beside Rafif’s family, supported us, helped us, and kept us in their prayers throughout this war: you will also remain in our hearts, and we will never forget your kindness. Thank you, friends, from the bottom of our hearts. Rafif’s family would love to share today’s journey with you—a return to a place that holds such a huge part of our story and our memories. ♥️🥹🙏

This is not only my daughter Rafif’s suffering—it is the reality of hundreds of children across Gaza. Viruses are spreading everywhere, the environment has become unsafe, and even the air we breathe is filled with the smoke and residue of constant bombardment. A doctor has initially diagnosed Rafif with a viral infection, possibly affecting her throat or chickenpox, and we are praying for her recovery. Rafif, along with hundreds of children here, is being denied the most basic rights: access to medical care, safety, and a healthy, normal childhood. Please keep my daughter Rafif in your prayers. Pray that God grants her healing, and that all the children of Gaza recover and are protected from all harm.

Khan Younis, torn apart… 💔 Two days ago, I walked for more than half an hour through the streets of Khan Younis. Everywhere I looked, destruction was all around me—in every street, on every corner. Places that were once full of life now stand as witnesses to a pain that words cannot describe. As I walked, I tried to remember what our city looked like before all this destruction changed its face… The Khan Younis we love is no longer the same. 💔

I don’t understand in what world we’re living… or on what planet this could ever be normal. Just a few hours ago, everything was fine. I went out with Rafif and my wife—just a simple outing for Rafif, to lift her spirits and help her cope with her pain and exhaustion. But suddenly, in a single moment… everything changed. The bombing returned, and death returned to the streets of Gaza. This was a photo of Rafif as we were heading to the market… and shortly after, everything turned into fear and unimaginable terror.

I dream of seeing my daughter, Rafif, one day wearing her school bag and walking to her classroom in a safe place — a place with proper education and healthcare, just like any other child in this world. Rafif has the right to live… the right to enjoy her childhood as she deserves. Please, we are not asking for much — just keep Rafif and us in your prayers.

Your suffering and the attempts to silence your voice for Gaza and its children will never be forgotten. Your brave stance will remain a symbol in our hearts and minds forever. From the heart of Gaza, we say: we love you ❤️ We stand with you, Greta Thunberg 🌍🇵🇸

I’m so exhausted… I can’t take this anymore. Everything feels heavier by the day. I’m trying to hold on — for Rafif, and for my wife. But I’m breaking, little by little. Please, just support me. Sometimes, a single word can make all the difference… For Rafif. For my wife. For the strength to keep going.

Beautiful and precious moments from our day together—my daughter, Rafif, and I. ❤️ Rafif insisted that we go out together for a meal at a café, just the two of us—a father and his daughter. My wife stayed behind because Rafif wanted this special outing to be ours alone. Seeing her smile again, even if only for a little while, was the greatest gift I could have asked for. This simple trip lifted her spirits and gave her a few precious moments of happiness that we have been missing for so long. The Rafif family wanted to share these beautiful memories with you all. Thank you for always being by our side. Please keep Rafif and our family in your prayers. 🤍
