💔 My daughter Rafif is not feeling well… For the past two hours, my little girl Rafif has been suffering from a very high fever. We gave her medicine to bring her temperature down, and we are still waiting for her to feel better and return to her usual self. As a father, there is nothing more painful than seeing your little girl suffering and wishing you could take away every bit of her pain. 😔 Please, keep my daughter Rafif in your prayers. Pray from the bottom of your hearts that God heals her, restores her health and strength, and brings back her beautiful smile that lights up our lives. 🤲🏻❤️🩹 O Allah, grant Rafif a complete healing that leaves no illness behind. My daughter Rafif wants me to tell her a bedtime story. With her innocent eyes and little features, she makes this place feel more beautiful, as if the world were still a safe place, despite everything we are living through in Gaza. ❤️🥺 When I look into her eyes, I wish I could protect her from every fear and give her the childhood she deserves, filled with love, safety, and laughter, not fear and anxiety. What did the children of Gaza ever do to deserve living through all this terror and fear? 💔 Just minutes ago, in central Khan Younis, in areas we are told are “safe,” heavy and terrifying gunfire erupted. We didn’t know what was happening… All we could hear were the bullets and the screams of people in the streets. Here, the fear never ends, and nowhere truly feels safe. In this tiny strip of land, death has become frighteningly close to everyone… even children whose only “crime” was being born in Gaza. How long must our children keep living in fear of what the next moment might bring? 💔

How can life change in just a single moment? Only moments ago, there was laughter, joy, and play. I was doing everything I could to create a few happy memories for my daughter, Rafif — small moments of happiness for a child who deserves nothing but a normal childhood. And then, suddenly… everything changed. Powerful explosions. Walls shaking. Buildings trembling. And our hearts feeling as though they were about to burst from our chests with fear. Is this justice? Do we deserve all this pain and terror? At any moment, you may hear that Rafif’s entire family is gone. The days will pass, life will move on, and perhaps we too will be forgotten, as so many others have been forgotten. But Rafif was here. She was a little girl who dreamed of growing up, laughing more, and living a life like every other child in this world. If you remember anything, remember Rafif.

We lived through an incredibly difficult night filled with fear and terror. We were forced to leave our place for more than three and a half hours after two homes next to us received evacuation warnings. We found ourselves out in the streets in the middle of the night, not knowing what would happen or whether we would be able to return. We took shelter in the home of a member of the Al-Jabour family, only about 300 meters away from our place, and waited there anxiously until 3:30 a.m., when we were finally able to return. Thank God, my entire family is safe and well at this moment. It was a night we will not easily forget. Please keep my family in your prayers, and pray that the coming days pass in peace and safety. 🙏💔

We are living through terrifying moments right now… We are out in the streets after the buildings directly across from us were warned that they are at risk of being bombed. We don’t know what will happen in the next few moments or where we can go. Fear surrounds us from every direction. All we hope for now is to make it through this night safely and stay alive. Here, no one knows what their fate will be or what might happen to them in the next moment… And if one day we are no longer able to tell you that we are still alive, please don’t forget our faces. Just moments ago, our children in Gaza lived through terrifying moments of fear… 💔 Heavy gunfire came from every direction, forcing us to hide behind walls, trying only to protect ourselves, protect our children, and survive. How long will we have to keep living through this terror? How long will our children grow up hearing the sound of gunfire instead of the sounds of joy and life?
