Advancing Medical Education Through Digital Access! Union Health Secretary Smt. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is advancing SUMAN Roadmap 2030 to strengthen maternal and newborn healthcare from pre-pregnancy care and safe childbirth to postnatal care and timely referral. With 7.29 crore+ people screened, 20 lakh+ carriers identified, 2.5 lakh people diagnosed and 4.93 crore+ Sickle Cell Cards distributed, India is advancing towards its goal of eliminating Sickle Cell Disease as a public health problem by 2047.
