Most of what a bank, fund or corporate treasury does has to stay confidential: client flows, payroll, supplier payments, trading positions. For institutions exploring public blockchains, that can create a trade-off between keeping sensitive activity confidential and accessing the liquidity and connectivity of an open market. Category Labs is developing Private Settlement on Monad, designed to give institutions confidential execution on a high-performance, EVM-compatible L1 without leaving its liquidity. → Transactions stay encrypted and confidential from intent to settlement → Each business configure its own domain(s): validators, trust model and access rules → Confidentiality stays accountable: auditors and regulators can be granted scoped access → Private activity is designed to stay connected to the Monad network's pooled liquidity If your team has payments, treasury or trading workflows, the Private Settlement design is worth a close look
