In Gary, Maryville, and Hammond schools are closed, families are throwing away spoiled food, people are driving to Illinois to get ice for insulin. Power rates are higher than ever, but people in the region are being put through hell just two years after Blackstone bought into their power company. Now residents are fighting back against the utility company -- filing a class action lawsuit against it for negligence.

“He needs to resign. That’s the bottom line.” Ranchers are outraged over Trump’s move to flood the market with 300,000 metric tons of discounted beef. We went to a beef show in Michigan to talk to ranchers who feel sold out by Trump’s policies. LEAKED AUDIO: In an all-hands meeting on April 30, Mark Zuckerberg tells employees that he's training AI on them ahead of mass layoffs. "The AI models learn from watching really smart people do things... The average intelligence of the people who are at this company is significantly higher than the average set of people that you can get to do tasks. So if we're trying to teach the models coding, for example, then having people internally build tools or solve tasks that help teach the model how to code, we think is going to dramatically increase our model's coding ability faster than what others in the industry have the capability to do, who don't have thousands and thousands of extremely strong engineers at their company."

Dua Lipa speaks out about the Albania protests: "I find it so inspiring to see how much people really care. You know, day after day they're hitting the streets, because the government has opened up this part of a beautiful nature reserve to a high-end beachfront development. And of course, this has been a huge story internationally because the company that's invested in the project is part-owned by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. But what I actually find concerning is the principle that the government could just change the law to remove the environmental protection without any kind of public consultation."

MAJOR: Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay $5.5 billion to resolve lawsuits that alleged the company’s talc products caused ovarian cancer. This settlement is less impressive when considering that 76,000 plaintiffs have been in litigation for a full decade, bearing the costs of cancer treatment during that time. Each will receive only $36,000, approximately. In 2020, Johnson & Johnson was ordered to pay $2.1 billion to 22 plaintiffs after a jury found the company's talc-based baby powered caused them to develop ovarian cancer. The Missouri Court of Appeals found "significant reprehensibility" in the company's conduct. Johnson & Johnson have attempted to dodge accountability for their alleged cancer causing product through three different attempts to declare bankruptcy in the last ten years, and made hundreds of billions of dollars during that time.
