Updates: - Added camera zooms during finishing moves. - Improved blood decals. - Blood streams now have audio and continue to spray from ragdolls. Still need to add camera offset so it can follow the action better and be unique to each animation, but this is a good start. Already feels so much less rigid than keeping the cam further out and since the player isn't running around during these moments there's no need to worry about not being able to see your surroundings as much. As mentioned on the recent Twitch streams, expect more camera improvements inspired by my time playing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black 🥷 #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #unity3d #animation #madewithunity #solodev #gaming #Steam

Small detail update: I've improved environment shaders to allow for snow to catch between bricks on completely vertical surfaces so walls and piles of rubble look more natural instead of only the top of geometry being covered. #indiedev #gamedev #unity3d #gamedevelopment #madewithunity #gaming #Steam #indiegame

I might not have a new trailer for any gaming showcases today, but here are a few updates to how menus work. 😂 1) Character physics are now simulated and respond to mouse input while previewing your gear in the equipment screen. Update: The initial overworld area now has 2,000 hand-placed trees and bushes scattered around the terrain. Several set pieces even have unique sounds and interaction VFX like this creaking log that responds to weight.
