It’s confirmed. I talked to Hala Arafat’s brother-in-law an hour ago and he confirmed that she was found dead under the rubble, hours after I posted this video of her moving her hand and speaking. Hala was killed along with her husband and their 4 children and other relatives. I will make family tree and post soon. Conclusion: Whether you post or not a video of someone who could be saved, it does matter. I happened to be on air on Sky News and broadcast that video when it was first published. The world is standing by not to intervene and help but to watch more videos of us dying.

What is important is that he was from Gaza and the people who killed him were Israelis. No more details because our lives in Gaza do not matter, in the words of a soldier who served in Gaza months ago. ( i posted the soldier’s interview yesterday night.) But I look at this video. The way this man was walking tells me he had been starving for days. But why in the hell would they kill him with a missile? A missile for one person? Why kill him? He was a father of some kids? Please help our brave soldiers find Beit Hanoun.” This is Beit Hanoun, the city where I taught English for about three years. What you are seeing in this video is not only the ruins of a city, but the shattered remains of homes beneath which many victims of israel’s terror attacks are still buried. There are literally hundreds of human beings still trapped under this rubble. Mothers, fathers, and children left buried for years. World governments not only failed to punish israel for these war crimes and crimes against humanity, they did not even take any steps to intervene and prevent them. Let us always remember that the Genocide Convention is not only about the Punishment of genocide, but also about the Prevention of the crime itself.
