I asked someone to do some landscaping for me and he gave me a quote of 50k for an area of approximately 40 by 80! Decided to try it myself learning as I go. So far Ksh 5,000 spent &amp; many lessons learnt. Sometimes you discover new skills when you stop outsourcing your effort.

I did a road trip from Lamu–Minjila–Hola–Garissa–Mwingi to Thika. I enjoyed the drive, though it was a bit scary. The road is long and straight, but very bumpy. There are no random petrol stations, so jipange mapema. Watch out for washed-out sections and alot of animals crossing
