#Lingusamy on His MAHABHARATA Film 🔥 “Pen India approached me to make a film based on the #Mahabharata. It was planned as a grand, big-budget film primarily focusing on the characters of #Abhimanyu and #Arjuna. I spent 1.5 years working on the script and completed all the work. I love the #Mahabharata. Since childhood, my mother has told me stories from the epic. The #Mahabharata and #Ramayana are 2 great epics; if you understand them, they contain the source of every story. The #Mahabharata continues to happen in different forms across different timelines and generations. I have a great desire to work on this project. However, when the artists wasn’t finalised and a long gap developed, I became worried. So, I told them I would make another film and return to this project later. Let’s see what happens in the future.” – #Lingusamy

#Mandaadi - From writing, I’ve wanted #Soori sir. We didn’t have any other choice. Director #Vetrimaaran sir deposited ₹50K in my bank account to explore the sea and get the story. Through that, I explored the world. Initially, I had a different script called the “mother script.” We were trying to mount it with #VijaySethupathi, but it didn’t materialise. Then Elred Kumar wanted to do a film, and that’s when #Vetrimaaran mediated, and Elred Kumar sir took one element from the “mother script” boat racing. Elred Kumar sir said this would be great. In that different script, boat racing was just one part of the story. Then #Soori sir came, I narrated the one-line story, and developed the writing for the movie. — Mathimaran Pugazhendi

#JasonSanjay maturity 👌👌👌 So proud of you Vijay / CMOTamilNadu, the way you’ve brought him up 😊 Question: When memes, #Jananayagan recent release, politics, and a lot of things come recently, how do you deal with it? #JasonSanjay Answer: I try and stay away from it as much as I can, as there’s always going to be an outside narrative because of where my father (#ThalapathyVijay / #CMVijay) is right now in his life. I just need to make sure I safeguard the reputation of the family. I’m not doing anything in an inconsiderate manner, as my father is the CM of the state. It’s not in terms of my work or films to set a narrative about me, but in my personal aspect of life, I need to refrain from certain things. I have certain limitations. Sometimes there’s pressure. They’ll definitely talk whatever I am. As long as there’s no collateral damage, you’ve got to trust your intuition and hope for the best.

I don’t know about my future collaboration with #Suriya. I’ve a new story that I need to tell him, but he has to like the story for the project to happen. - #KarthikSubbaraj
