This day marks 21 years since the Supreme Court's landmark ruling on January 23, 2004, which granted every Indian the right to proudly hoist our Tiranga every day. This cherished right was secured after a decade-long legal battle, and it remains a symbol of our collective pride and unity. I urge every Indian to honor the Tiranga with respect and dignity, not just on special occasions but every single day. Let’s adorn our homes and offices with the vibrant colors of courage, peace, and growth, and fill our nation with the spirit of patriotism. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

Met Alisha Choudhary from Pundri of my Lok Sabha constituency, Kurukshetra, today. This June, she won the Gold Medal in the Women's Kumite (55 kg) category at the 22nd Asian Senior Karate Championship in Bali, the first-ever Gold Medal for India in karate at this championship. Yet, despite meeting the Sports Ministry's own eligibility criteria, her nomination for the 2026 Asian Games remains uncertain because India currently has no recognised National Sports Federation for karate. I request Hon'ble Sports Minister Shri Dr Mansukh Mandaviya Ji, IOA President Smt. P.T. USHA Ji, YAS Ministry, SAI Media, Team India, and the Indian Olympic Association to kindly intervene so that deserving athletes like Alisha get the opportunity to represent India this September and make our country proud.
