More experiments with Pika labs “additions”

Just doing a first test with #runwayml new video to video. No image input yet, only text atm. But driving the animation is a good first step.

All you need is a child like imagination. Playing with Luma Modify Video.

Playing around with an imaginary Ai tactical Amazonian security guard… who likes to read during her lunch. This is really just more exploring Pika Additions capabilities.

Another Ai video to video tests.

It is fun but it’s hard to not dream of the more capable and intuitive future systems with much deeper control. I can’t wait.

I grew up editing action movies with two vhs players & having to warn police we were filming with painted toy guns. My first VFX was frame by frame in photoshop from minidv. Kids growing up with advanced versions of this tech are going to do absolutely incredible things.

Doing the monsters made me want to test some big environmental stuff with Pika Additions.

Playing with Runway first frame and mannequins.

More toying around with runway first frame.

Honestly, Runway first frame has more range than I initially thought. I will say they could really use a green screen button to replace the backgrounds though.

Runway First Frame and Act One. (Structure Transformation 7)

I thought laser swords would be a fun way to test out multiple lights. This Ai light effect test with Runway Gen3 was really hijacking my face. But there’s obvious model tuning solutions to that.

In a few years people will be building Ai realities with assets they crafted using all kinds of inputs well beyond the current limited prototypes. Fondant and Runway Gen3 used for this quick conceptual video.

Testing out runway’s first frame as a relighting tool. I relit the frame with Magnific. The Magnific relight isn’t perfect and can change the character a bit but it seems like the runway part stays pretty true to the input.

Just an Orc and his Dragon

These 3 clips were using Luma Ai Modify Video set on Flex 2 strength with first frames edited in Midjourney. V2V keeps getting better.

The future of Ai is Multiplayer, not just single player with Ai NPCs. Made with Luma A Luma | Dream Lab experiment.

Playing around with workflows at Luma Luma | Dream Lab

One of the amazing things about Ai is the possibility of just exploring a world you imagine for no other reason than your own play and joy. Made with Luma Ray3 Modify. Luma | Dream Lab

Ray 3.14 native 1080p modify is so fun! Jieyi Lee drew this fun character so we made a quick little experiment with it. Luma | Dream Lab Luma

Seedance 2.5 really wants to change the input camera motion, parallax, and performances. Changing or adding motion can be helpful, but most of the time I just wish it defaulted to better motion adherence. Made with Luma at Luma | Dream Lab

Here’s the behind the scenes of using Luma Ai Video Modify to turn some plastic soldiers into an army.

I feel like I did ok in this bear fight. 😂 Luma Luma | Dream Lab

Flying and swimming are density labels for the same thing. Made with Luma

I’m having a lot of fun getting to know the capabilities of pika additions. More to come.

Filming with Tamara Bruketta and Bronte Cooper is always so fun. 🤩 Thanks to Nancy Estrada And Jieyi Lee for the pickup, and Jack Fishkin for Filming. 🙌 Made with our new Ray 3.14 modify in Dream Machine. Luma | Dream Lab Luma

Working with Jieyi Lee and our new Luma Agents to do new workflows with Modify Video at Luma Dream Lab LA Tutorials coming soon!

Viggle v3 is quite a jump from v2. 👀

Here’s a quick Ai assisted asset test. I sketched the parts in Procreate, style transferred in Magnific.ai, converted to 3d in 3DAIStudio, & recorded Performance Capture with Move AI . Camera Tracked and rendered in #cinema4d

I made another film with Ai. This time I used #runwayml ‘s text to video Ai #gen2 . Each shot was prompted. Voices generated with #elevenlabs I wrote the story based on a tweet #gpt4 wrote: “I just had a dream that I was an AI and woke up in a lab. What does it mean?” #aicinema

Real time Ai is not quite useful for onset visualization. But it’s getting there.

Playing around with our new office crash pad and Luma agents.
