You can’t make this stuff up. The pilot audio is both bizarre and hilarious on the now infamous team flight from Auburn to Houston.

I see some people asking about white helmets for Alabama Football so for those too young to remember here is a clip from the 1983 Alabama Football season when freshman Cornelius Bennett blocked a punt and returned it for a TD against LSU. Would love his thoughts on the white helmets.

I’ve been so fortunate to have been inside Bryant-Denny for all three of these memorable plays by Alabama Football, but which one does everyone feel was the loudest? 1. Tyrone Prothro - 2005 vs. UF 2. Javier Arenas - 2007 vs. LSU 3. Ryan Williams - 2024 vs. UGA

I’ve seen countdowns today referencing Cornelius Bennett because it’s 97 days until Alabama Football plays Florida State, but this feels incomplete unless you’re also remembering “The Sack” against Notre Dame in 1986.

With only 27 days until Alabama Football starts the 2025 season, today is a moment to remember Siran Stacy, who won an SEC championship in 1989, but whose resiliency following a tragedy has inspired others. In November 2007, a drunk driver struck Stacy’s van not more than a few miles from his house and changed his life in one instant. The accident took the lives of Stacy’s wife and four of his five children with only 4-year-old Shelly surviving. A year later, Stacy and his daughter, both recovered from their injuries, brought the game ball out for the 2008 Iron Bowl and more than 100,000 people inside Bryant-Denny Stadium wept and cheered in unison for the strength and faith of the Stacy family.

With only 24 days until Alabama Football starts the 2025 season, today we remember Kevin Turner, a powerful fullback from Prattville who played for the Crimson Tide from 1988-91 under Bill Curry and Gene Stallings. New England drafted Turner in the third round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He played several years in the league with the Patriots and later the Philadelphia Eagles, before recurring neck injuries ended his career in 1999. However, Turner was later diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in June 2010. He fought the disease for almost six years before passing away on March 24, 2016, at his home in Vestavia Hills.

With only 35 days until Alabama Football starts the 2025 season, today is a moment to remember the talents of Kerry Goode. Before a second-half knee injury, Goode appeared to be launching his own Heisman campaign with 307 all-purpose yards and three TDs against Boston College in 1984
